Department of Communications and Computer Engineering
The origin of this department is two thirds of the Department of Electronics and Communication and one third of the Department of Information Science. Our new goal is to integrate communications and computers, which includes research and education of theory, software and hardware of computers; multi-media communications and information networks; signal processing; VLSI technologies; space radio and computer radio engineering; radio atmospheric sciences; etc. Faculties are also responsible to the undergraduate program of School of Informatics and Mathematical Science (Computer Science Course) and the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The Department has three regular divisions and two cooperative divisions, each of which has two or three sub-divisions. Each student belongs to one of these sub-divisions and is supervised by the professor or associate professor of the sub-division.
